For those who have experienced limb loss, as well as their family, friends, and care team members, the Amputee Coalition will be hosting Hill Days on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 and Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency in Fairfax, VA. This provides those in attendance the unique experience of meeting with their peers, education on hot topics, and culminating with meetings with members of the House of Representatives and Senate in Washington DC on April 26, 2017.
If you want your voice to be heard but don't quite know how to go about it, the Amputee Coalition will provide information on the topics that will be addressed and what you expect while at the House and Senate.
The event is free to attend, however, registration is necessary so the folks at the Amputee Coalition can have materials ready as well as schedule meetings with the appropriate people. If you are outside the Washington DC area and would like to attend, the AC also has a link for hotel reservations at the on their website. There is also a tentative agenda for both days activities.
